WHAT IS A HEADSHOT?

The headshot session is a more straightforward photoshoot lasting between 15 and 45 minutes long, in a single location/background, wearing one outfit to create 3-8 professional portraits that will depict your best professional image to build trust and the ‘like’ factor. There is very little posing required just bring a smile and I will help you relax and look personable and friendly on the day.
Booking a headshot shoot is a great place to start if you are just starting out and have a smaller budget for good quality professional portraits, or for a quick topup of your current headshot if you have recently changed your look and
Businesses and their teams also require headshots of their teams and partners. I offer a number of different types of relaxed and ‘not so corporate’ type headshot sessions for teams depending on the complexity of your requirements.

The shoot will take place over a half or a full day where we will aim for variety with multiple wardrobe changes and pre-planned shot list and potentially a professional hair & make up service.

Bespoke Personal & Professional Branding Photographer for the Modern Entrepreneur
The clients I have worked with on their personal branding have all seen an increase in their presence on social media, magazines and the national press, as well as in overall business with a fresh and relevant brand. Clients come to me with the launch of a new venture or business, a brand and/or website refresh. I would describe how I work and what I produce for my clients as ‘Beyond the Headshot’ and my packages start at 15 images which are lightly retouched, however if you don’t require retouching please do mention this during our discovery call and then I can possibly offer you more images..
I don’t have a studio and always work on location using natural light. However during the winter months this may not always be possible and we may have work indoors with help of additional lighting.
We’ll begin with an initial call to talk about you and your business, the kind of images you are after and how you would like to be portrayed, and a feel for your marketing. We will talk through wardrobe and what to wear, different locations and a variety of types of images required to really bring your business to life. I will go on to source an ideal location(s) that suits what you do and how you want your images to look – I pride myself in using fresh and new locations to create unique business portraits for all my clients.
